World Music and Yoga Day
World Music and Yoga Day was
celebrated on 21st June 2023. Smt
Sowmya Srikant and Smt Radha Krishna
Swaroop, the well-known
Bharatanatyam dancers and the
singers in Indian Classical Genre,
were the chief guests on the
occasion. Sri Bagepalli Nataraj
Vice-President KVS, and Sri M R
Sangamesh Secretary KVS graced the
occasion. Smt Devika B Swamy
Principal extended a warm welcome to
the dignitaries and the students.
Smt Sowmya Srikant and Smt Radha
Krishna Swaroop gave a performance
on singing devotional songs. Later,
Sri Rakesh Physical Education
teacher along with a few students
gave a demonstration on yogaasanas.
A competition was held for the
students of 5th to 7th std on the
theme of singing patriotic songs. On
the same day “ Gamaka Vachana” was
conducted by Smt Sowmya Srikant and
Smt Radha Krishna Swaroop for the
10th Std students.
