Shivaratri was celebrated with religious
farevour on 7th March 2024. A song sung
by our school choir.

Fare Well 2023-24
Fare
well was organized for the outgoing
students of 10th Std on 16th Feb 2024.
Sri Bagepalli Nataraj, Vice - President,
Sri M R Sangamesh, Secretary, KVS graced
the occasion. The teachers bid adieu
with a heavy heart to the outgoing
students. On their part, the outgoing
students spoke highly on the
contribution made by the school in their
overall growth. They also promised to
perform well in the forth coming 10th
Std CBSE, Examination.

Republic
Day was celebrated in our school on 26th
January 2024. Sri Thipperudrappa,
President, KVS hoisted the National Flag
all the office bearers of KVS graced the
occasion. The most significant aspect of
the programme was that the teachers and
the students from all the institutions
under KVS took part in the programme.
Dance programmes and March Past took
place on the occasion. It was a huge
celebration. Breakfast was served to all
the parents, students and teachers of
all the institutions.

13th January 2024. Dance performance was
given by high school students. Yellu –
Bella was distributed to all the
teachers by high school students. All
the students were dressed up in
traditional attire.

was celebrated in our school on 22nd
December 2023. A dance programme, and a
Skit was performed by 2nd std children
and Christmas Carols was sung by 1st std
students. The chief guest of the
programme were C.D.S Murthy, Retired TPO,

Municipal Commissioner, Tiptur. Sri M R

occasion. Prices for the winners in the
Annual Sports Meet were distributed on
this occasion.

Day was celebrated in our school on 21st
December 2023. 7th Std children came up
with a performance trying to familiarize
mathematical symbols in the form of a
group dance. The teachers of Mathematics
address the students to overcome the
phobia towards mathematics and they gave
illustrations how mathematics is user
friendly.

in the Taluk Level Dance Competition
held in Kalpataru Stadium. Our students

Kalpa-Gnana
darpana an educational fair was
organized on 15th and 16th September,
2023 in our school. The event was
presided over by Sri P K Thipperudrappa,

bearers of KVS. Sri G Chandraiah, BEO,
Tiptur inaugurated the Educational Fair,
Sri Manohar T L, AEE, BESCOM, Tiptur and
Sri Shivakumar M D, Principal Govt PU
College were the Chief Guests. Parents
and Students from different schools
visited the fair in a big number. Our
students won the hearts of the public by
their wonderful efforts. The feedback
from the parents, public and the
teachers and students from other schools
and colleges was overwhelming.

PU College Tiptur were the judges on the
occasion. 1st place was bagged by
Gurukula School, Tiptur and 2nd & 3rd
places went to KCS.

judges on the occasion. The efforts of

Principal welcomed the gathering. The
three judges of the competition were Sri
Manjanna, Smt SunithaPraveen and Smt
Poornima K. The first place went to
Samyak House 2nd Place went to Vrudhi
House and 3rd place was shared by
Uthkarsh and Advaith Houses.

World
Music and Yoga Day was celebrated on
21st June 2023. Smt Sowmya Srikant and
Smt Radha Krishna Swaroop, the
well-known Bharatanatyam dancers and the
singers in Indian Classical Genre, were
the chief guests on the occasion. Sri
Bagepalli Nataraj Vice-President KVS,
and Sri M R Sangamesh Secretary KVS
graced the occasion. Smt Devika B Swamy
Principal extended a warm welcome to the
dignitaries and the students. Smt Sowmya
Srikant and Smt Radha Krishna Swaroop
gave a performance on singing devotional
songs. Later, Sri Rakesh Physical
Education teacher along with a few
students gave a demonstration on
yogaasanas. A competition was held for
the students of 5th to 7th std on the
theme of singing patriotic songs. On the
same day “ Gamaka Vachana” was conducted
by Smt Sowmya Srikant and Smt Radha
Krishna Swaroop for the 10th Std
students.

programme on art integration was
organized on 16th June 2023. Smt Sowmya
Srikant, the well-known Bharatanatyam
dancer, was the chief guest of the
programme. She addressed the students
about the need to go for art integration
into the school curriculum. Children
gave a performance of the Bharatanatyam
dance. Smt Devika B Swamy Principal was
present on the occasion.

day was celebrated in our school on 8th
June 2023. Only the 1st std children
were involved in the activities. Sri
Bagepalli Nataraj, Vice–President, and
Sri M R Sangamesh, Secretary were the
dignitaries on the occasion. Smt Devika

parents and the dignitaries and the
children came up with many programmes
concerning the environment in the form
of dance, songs, and skits. The
Principal introduced the teaching
faculty to the parents on the occasion.

6th June 2023
School
election was conducted in the school on
6th June 2023. Children from 6th Std
onwards elected their representatives
through the digital voting system. The
students were very enthusiastic and the
election process created awareness among
them about the need to elect worthy
candidates. Head Boy, Head Girl, Deputy
Head boy, Deputy Head Girl, Cultural
Secretaries, Deputy cultural secretaries
sports secretaries and deputy sports
secretaries were elected by the
children.

Environment Day5th June 2023
World
Environment Day was celebrated in the
school assembly. Sri Bagepalli Nataraj
Vice–President, KVS and Sri M R
Sangamesh, Secretary, KVS were the
guests. The Principal administrated the
oath of office to the students to keep
the environment clean. The dance drama
was performed by the students of class
6th. 7th Std students went around on a
door-to-door campaign in Vidyanagar to
keep the environment clean with a few
teachers to create awareness among the
public. They distributed pamphlets on
how to keep the environment clean among
the public. High school students went on
jatha on the main road starting from
Kalpataru Stadium to Kodi Circle and
returned from there to Seetharamaiah
centenary hall where food was served to
them.

The
School reopened on 22nd May 2023 for the
students of 1st – 10th std. 1st std kids
were welcomed by the Principal & other
teachers. The Principal distributed
pencils which had been decorated using

Farewell to 2022-23 batch
Valediction
for X course 2022 moist eyes and teary -
eyed farewell marked the valediction
organized for X standard children
2022-23 batch. It was a very moving
sight watching the out-going children
feeling very sad at the prospect of
leaving the school on the completion of
course. A token of gift was handed over
to the out - going children by the
school. The event was an emotionally
surcharged one where the children felt
very proud to be the students of KCS and
they expressed their gratitude to the
school, faculty and fellow students. The
children vowed that they would excel in
their performance at X Board
Examination.

Class X results were announced on 23rd
July 2022. I am very happy to state that
our students produced 100 per cent
results for the 16th consecutive year.
Out of 120 students, 62 students bagged
distinction and Leniyashree scored
597/600 to become one of the toppers at
the National level.

visited Hathyal Narasimha Swamy Temple
and the seed sowing programme was
initiated by our school with the support
of the Forest Department.

We
celebrated World Music and Yoga day on
June 21st 2020. Only a few children and
teachers could take part in the
programme in order to maintain physical
distancing in the context of the
pandemic. A pro-active initiative in
creating awareness among children about
the positive impact of yoga in our lives
'Do yoga and enjoy life' is the intended
message here. Yoga is a therapy to keep
the body fit, mind clam and help live a
relaxed and quality life.

the valediction organized for the
2019-2020 X standard children. It was a
very moving sight watching the out –
going children feeling very sad at the
prospect of leaving the school on the

The teachers educated the children about
the various aspects of human behavior.
The children were told to be vary of
psychopathic and anti – social elements
in the society. A short film was
screened to enable the children to draw
a distinction between good touch & bad
touch.

Disaster
Management awareness program
The children were made aware of the
possible disasters that they are likely
to encounter. The teachers demonstrated
how to manage the disaster and how to
minimize the negative impacts of the
disaster. The teachers used the school
model to show the various exits in the
school which could be used at the time
of any disaster. The students were told
to be clam resourceful in operating the
fire extinguishers and other various
tools.

Teachers’ Day was celebrated in our
school on 5th September 2019-20 with
enthusiasm. The students organized the
function in an orderly manner & they
recalled the tremendous contribution
made by Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.

2019
Kalpataru Central School conducted the
Fancy Dress Competition on 29th July for
the children of Classes Sapling. The
purpose of conducting the competition
was not only to blend learning with fun
but also to develop confidence in the
students by giving them an opportunity
to get on the stage and speak in front
of an audience. Children dressed up in
their colorful costumes and spoke a few
sentences on the character that they
depicted. The effort and hard work of
children was highly commendable.
