3rd June – A Parent – Teacher meeting for the parents of Grades 1 to 7 students was convened. Hon’ble KVS office bearers were present on the occasion. This meeting was to discuss the current academic matters.

4th June – The School Student Council Election was conducted by the faculty of Social Department.

5th June – World Environment Day was celebrated in the school assembly. Chief Guest was Mr B V Gundappa, an Environmentalist and Lecturer in Biology, C S Pura, Gubbi Taluk. He gave a talk on the conservation of environment. Hon’ble KVS office bearers were present on the occasion.

11th June – Investiture Ceremony was conducted with great discipline and decorum. The Oath was administered by the principal to all the elected members and badges were pinned to them by the office bearers of KVS.

On the same day, an Orientation programme for the parents of 1st Std was conducted. The teachers handling the Grade 1 classes introduced themselves.

12th June – A Health Awareness programme was organised in association with the Municipal & Taluk Health Department, Tiptur to create awareness about containment of Dengue disease.

14th June – Talents day was organized for the 1st Std kids where the kids enthusiastically participated and showcased their talents in a colorful way.

Dr. Saraswathi, Principal/Professor, Govt First Grade College, Huliyar, enlightened the teachers about benefits of Yoga which helps to overcome and manage stress.

16th June – Fathers’ Day was celebrated in the school assembly.

18th June – Inter–House Dance Competition for high school level was conducted. This marked the opening of CCA for the academic year. The 1st place was shared by Advaith and Utkarsh House. 2nd and 3rd prizes were secured by Vriddhi House and Samyak House respectively.

19th June – On account of forthcoming Diamond Jubilee Celebration of Kapataru Vidya Samsthe, Stone-laying ceremony for the new building of the school was held. Mr. Shadakshari, MLA, Tiptur was the Chief Guest. All the KVS Management members were present on the occasion.

21st June – International Yoga Day & World Music Day was celebrated in the school assembly. Chief Guests were Smt. Chennambika, Sri Kantharaju & Smt. Lakshmi, Vivekananda Yoga Training School, Tiptur.

Various Asanas of Yoga were demonstrated by Mr. Rakhesh, Physical Educator, and students.

Carnatic Classical singer Mrs. Kavyasudha, Principal Scientist in a Pharmaceutical Company, was the Chief Guest for the Music Day Celebration.

On the same day, Inter–House Song Competition for middle school level was conducted. Theme: *The Environment*. 1st place – Utkarsh House; 2nd & 3rd – Samyak and Vriddhi House.

23rd June – An awareness programme on Child Safety Education was conducted. Students from Grades 1 to 5 were shown videos on Good Touch and Bad Touch.

On the same day, an orientation on POCSO Act was held by the principal for the School Bus Drivers and attenders.

26th June – MT1 began for all the students.

28th June – A One-day CBP workshop on Life Skills-Advanced for teachers was hosted in our school. Resource Persons were Mr. Lava (Principal, Podar International School, Tumkur) and Mrs. Ruqaya (DPS, Bengaluru).
